The Topeka Lions Foundation looks to provide financial support to community organizations that share our mission and focus areas in: Environment, Diabetes, Youth, Vision, Pediatric Cancer and Hunger

Recycle used eyeglasses

Lions collect used eyeglasses to recycle in 3rd world countries. Drop-off site at area optometrists and the Topeka/Shawnee Country Public Library - Red Carpet Services.

Eyeglass Procurement

For those who qualify*, basic eyeglasses are provided to individuals. They must have a current prescription.

Eye Exams can also be provided to those who qualify for financial assistant.


*Financial qualifications 

 

Spot Vision Screening

Free Vision Screening for day care age children ages 3-6 years old. The optimal time to catch vision problems so treatment can prevent sight disability. A critical time for vision screening. To schedule a visit send a note to Contact Us

 

Community Walk -Passport to Health

Annual Diabetes Awareness and Prevention Fun Walk through Gage Park with the purpose of educating the public on ways to prevent diabetes.
